My HUB is having difficulty with getting messages out, therefore, "a" 
response from someone seeing this would be nice.
In accordance with current practice and adopted echomail procedure
within Fidonet, the following rules have been established for the
MS_WORD Echo.  The following rules will be posted periodically.
The purpose of the rules is quite simply to ensure messages conform
to Fidonet standards, to keep the threads on topic, and to ensure
orderly distribution without causing duplicate message loops.
1.  The purpose of this echo is the discussion of Microsoft Word
    and its various offshoots--Mac Word, Word for Windows, DOS Word;
    any other versions that are created; and add-on products for
    Microsoft Word Products.  No other software, hardware, etc.
    questions (including Windows and/or other operating systems) are
    considered on-topic.  No "bashing" of competitive products is
    permitted.  The Moderator will absolutely not permit the
    "My wordprocessor is better than your wordprocessor" syndrome
    into the echo.  Speculation on features, release dates, beta
    cycles, etc. of future releases of Microsoft Word is not permitted.
    Keep in mind that since this echo supports ALL versions of Word
    it is a good idea to state which version you are referring to
    in your messages to avoid confusion.
    1a.  If it is determined that an echo participant has an illegal
         copy of MS_WORD, that echo participant will have his/her/its
         feed cut immediately.
2.  Personal attacks (commonly called flames) are not permitted under
    any circumstances.  In addition to keeping the messages on topic,
    we intend to keep things friendly.  It is absolutely permitted
    and encouraged to disagree.  However, it must be done in a
    friendly manner.  It is particularly necessary for the profes-
    sionals among us to remember that this echo is for *everyone*.
    A condescending manner is to be avoided at all costs.  Please try
    to remember how much you had to learn at one time.
3.  Off topic messages should be ignored.  The Moderator will respond
    to them directly.  Answers by others just tend to perpetuate
    themselves and lead the threads astray.
4.  Sysops (system operators) from throughout the world spend their own
    hard-earned $$$ to make this echo available for your pleasure and
    education.  Therefore, advertisements of any kind, and in particular,
    *COMMERCIAL_ADVERTISEMENTS* are not in good taste and are *TABOO*.
    It is totally unfair to ask these sysops to pay your advertising
    costs, and your cooperation here is most certainly expected.
    The moderator will make the final determination as to what constitutes
    advertising and will notify individuals whose messages are determined
    to be off topic.
5.  Lastly, aside from the regular FidoNet guidelines of annoying behavoir
    and English as the official language, leave the moderating to the
    moderator.  Any comments about echo rules and/or moderation should
    be sent via netmail.  They should not be posted in the echo.
6.  Most importantly, enjoy yourself and be open to share information
    so we can all learn and prosper.
