subject: 16550 uart and crc errors

Hi Fred,
In installing my new external GVC fax-modem (14,4) I had the similar problem
described here:
CS> I am using a 14400 baud modem on com2, port is locked at 19.2K where I

The solution was to change my parallel and series CARD to permit 16550 UART
that had ruled the problem of CRC errors.
But I can't obtain, at this time, the speed of 38400 even if I configured
hat
in commo.set as such. Each time I'm transferring, the maximum speed is only
19200.
What can I do technically to obtain 38400 and a better tranfer up to 1650 cps
?
Thanks Fred, I'm really looking for the best performance !
