Hi Elvis,

EH> A Pitts can get ALL over the place, and bite itself in

EH> too! I 'spect Joe Norris knows what I'm talking about
EH> and can SAY it better too!
Well, I don't know whether I can say it better or not, but I
DO know what you are talking about. Fact is, the Pitts does
EVERYTHING quickly!!
EH> As far as I was concerned, the Aztec, or maybe the
EH> Queen Air was just about all the airplane I could say
EH> grace over. We had an Excalibur conversion that I
EH> wanted to fly BAD! But, I didn't FEEL right in big
EH> airplanes so I didn't fly them competently and of
EH> course the boss wouldn't LET me fly them.
Guess I haven't met too many airplanes that I couldn't get
along with. Been in some that I didn't particularly care
for, but never really had a BAD time in any of them, from
the Sonerai and Pitts right on up to the DC-3. I guess what
I really like is the variety. I enjoy getting into
different types, and learn a little from each and every one.
BTW, never had the chance yet to fly a King Air, but I'm
looking forward to the day when I do!! I'd love to get a
handful of those PT-6s!!
Of course, there's always the soft spot in my heart for the
old "basic" birds. No matter what, a guy can have a heck of
a lot of fun in a Cub or a T-crate!!
Fly Safe!
Joe
... Level flight is an unusual attitude!
