Listening to all you guy's chatting about your 8 bitters makes me feel kind
of nostalgic, i must dig out some of my 8 bit stuff for a session soon.

I used to own a 800 before moving to a 130 XE, this i upgraded to 320K using
a PD design, it'd blown up its share of Freddie chips until i ditched the
PSU. I also have a 256K 800XL, 2 US doubled 1050's a stock 1050, an 810
drive, an 850 interface and a couple of tape deck's.

I used to spend the twilight hours programming in assembler doing nothing
much more than 'just for the hell of it' type prog's. My favourite pastime
was trying to crack the protection on software, not to sell or steal, but
just to prove i could do it.

Nowadays im running a Mega STE with a 365M hard drive + 2Gig DAT drive, my
favourite pastime is still assembly programming and hacking, but the twilight
hours are spent reading mail and experimenting with my Point / Node / BBS
Software setup and helping people solve there system's prob's.

Ive only recently plugged into the 8 bitters base, but dont see a situation
where i'l be disconnecting in the near future.

Let me know what your setup is and your reason for not going to the next link
in the Atari chain.

Regards @ 14.4Kbaud from STEve. & His Mega STE SySTEm.
