I finally got into the guts of the IZH-46 this week to fix a leaker I
had in stock and to repair a warranty for a customer. The
more I work on these guns the more I like them. The last couple of
months I've seen some posts about leakers and I just
wanted to let everyone know that if they need service for any reason we
can handle it. If you purchased it from us we will fix
it for one year. If you didn't the repair charges will usually run
around $75 if the gun needs a complete rebuild. All repairs will
be backed for a one year period.
I'm posting the procedure to adjust the trigger of the IZH-46 Mac-1
style.
Tension adjust-Rear Screw-Turn anti-clockwise until a few threads of the
screw end protrude beyond block.
2nd stage- 2nd from rear-Turn anti clockwise until there is no 2nd stage
and then back in until there is just a hint of 2nd stage.
Overtravel- 3rd from rear-turn clockwise until it won't fire. Then
anti-clockwise until 1/8th turn after it does fire.
Take up- Front Screw-Turn clockwise to reduce or anticlockwise to
increase 1st stage travel.
Blade- The trigger blade can move fore and aft on a dovetail by slacking
the pinch screw, moving it to your preferred position and then
retightening.
When I was back in Maryland visiting Tom and friends I was going to
adjust the trigger on his gun cause he said it didn't
inpress him. I told him that from the box they weren't all that great
but they had incredible potential. I never got around to
adjusting Tom's trigger so I thought I would post this for his benefit
and for all those that did not get there gun from Mac-1.
This is how all the guns were prepped for customers and they've had
nothing but praise.
