Finally...  "mrhead"  has come back to
rec.sport.pro-wrestling.moderated...

The suplex was from either one of the early Starrcades (I forget which
one) or one of the local sites for the Great Amnerican Bash tour.  The
match stips were a "Mexican Death Match" (in other words, a sombrero
on a pole match), and it happened about 4 months before Fernandez
joined the "Paul Jones Army" and started teaming with Rick Rude.  

I didn't see the full match.  In fact, I only saw that one move from
the match (it was part of a highlight package of the entire event with
highlights of each match), and I remember my jaw dropping when I saw
it on Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling.
