It is mostly shore diving around here unless you go to the Great Lakes
or thier bays, which being in southern Ontario those locations are well
within a days drive.  I have not yet experienced diving in a current the
only place I  know of that is close for such a dive would be the Severn
River.

That is something I  will defentatly have to check out one day. 
Unfortunatly the Ocean is  not at all close to me.
