It seems that some people are still confused regarding the identities of
certain Endtime personalities. The list of qualifications which I shared in
my post "Who Is Moshiach ben David?" was taken from an Orthodox Jewish
website. Those are the qualifications which the Orthodox Jews themselves
will use to determine whether or not their messiah -- Moshiach ben David --
has arrived yet. They are NOT the qualifications of the first Beast of
Revelation chapter thirteen.

The Beast and the False Prophet of Revelation 13 are two entirely different
entities, totally set apart from Moshiach ben David, in my view. As I have
said before, it is my understanding that the Beast and the False Prophet
will work together as a team -- the first Beast being a political/military
leader, and the second Beast being a spiritual leader, a.k.a. the False
Prophet. I believe that they may quite possibly be of Muslim origin. The
False Prophet will be the first Beast's public relations man. These two
leaders will NOT be Jews, or even from Israel. They will be external to
Israel, and the Ten Horns -- ten Muslim/Arab nations? -- will eventually
give their power to this Beast, as per Revelation 13.

As I explain in my articles, such as "Who Is Who: Defining Endtime
Terms" --
which I posted earlier in this echo -- I believe that the phrases "Moshiach
ben David" and "Antichrist" are synonymous terms. Moshiach
ben David is the
false Jewish messiah who will pretend to be God, and who will sit in the
rebuilt temple on Mount Moriah in East Jerusalem, as per Paul's prophecy in
2 Thessalonians 2.

To reiterate, the Jew's false messiah, (Moshiach ben David), is synonymous
with the term "Antichrist". The Antichrist will be the long-awaited Jewish
leader who will rebuild the temple. The term "Antichrist" is NOT synonymous
with the first or second Beast of Revelation 13. Those two people are
entirely separate from the deceiver who is described in 2 Thessalonians 2.
That chapter, (2 Thessalonians 2), is dealing with the Antichrist --
Moshiach ben David -- who will deceive the Jews into worshiping him as God.

The Beast and the False Prophet will invade Israel from outside; therefore,
the Beast and the Antichrist cannot possibly be the same person, if the
Antichrist is the false Jewish messiah, or Moshiach ben David.

The above represents my current personal understanding of the chapters and
events in question. It is not written in stone, and I could be wrong. Please
