Break was too strong a word.  What the extra long MSGID did was to result
in some tosser software to toss SBBS messages to a bad area which some
people have set to toss to the bit bucket resulting in them seeing replies
to messages they never got.  I forget the name of the software but a few
Linux people were using it.  The main person I saw and talked to about it
is now AWOL so I guess it doesn't matter anymore.  Bottomline for me is it
soured me to stuff like SBBS that bloats an already overbloated format.  I
say reduce kludges not bloat them further.
