Sorry to have spoiled your enthusiasm with this program %-I
On the other side, since I don't know of any "cheap" terminal program
(one that could use both, TCP/IP and the serial line maybe ;-) ) for 
"ancient" computers like the 8088, maybe we should write this one (maybe
not in assembler, I'd write that one in  Pascal ;-) ).
BTW, don't you have a safe OS (like NT or supposedly Linux) to program
under ? I only develop under NT (even 16-bit applications) - and simply
close the DOS box if a program thrashes something ...
