Isn't that keeping things on topic? I call that sort of chat and combining
with the subject matter of the echo an on topic message<
HEY PAAAAATTTTT KNOOOOOOXXXXX???? How do you call this??? <

LF> As I suspected, a very multi-talented lady. Hope you get your

Being brave is an understatement when it comes to coats! <
LF> I had enrolled in a community college course to learn when we moved
LF> from LA and I never got back to it. I love to sew, but I am hard to
LF> fit - I wear an 18 petite - and am short and rather round, narrow
 LF> shoulders, broad hips.
Pear shapped! < I know that shape quite well! I learned how to make
"custom fit" patterns from scratch at a seminar that I attended years ago.
It comes with a basic set of pattern ideas, and those patterns look too small
for a barbie doll. You just "blow them up" to size with a special tape
measure that came as part of the equipment that I purchased at the seminar.
I certainly wish I knew if they were still in business. I have my doubts!
LF> Do you sew the dresses for the weddings and decorate as well?
Yes! While we were living in South Korea, I did an entire wedding party for
a young officer who was marrying a young Korean girl. I made her "western
style" wedding dress from the "ground up" drew up the design idea, drafted
the patterns, shopped for the fabric the whole thing. Also made her
traditional Korean wedding dress as well.
LF> You really do have a bad problem with allergies! That is a shame but
LF> sounds as though you have it well in hand.
LF> You are bringing out the urge for me to investigate my pattern box and
LF> my material box. I've got to quit the job and get my house
LF> straightened out first. I did shampoo my bedroom carpet yesterday.
Energetic! Do you do windows??? Get on interstate 80 and head DUE west.
When you get to Highway 29 on the western edge of Iowa go north to interstate
90. Turn west and continue until you hit I-5 in Seattle. Head South on I-5
until you get to the "Bridgeport Way South" exit in Tacoma (Lakewood). Head
in toward McChord AFB, and turn right just before you get to the Exxon
station. Turn left on Lincoln Ave SW and go about two blocks .... hehehehehe
LF> Went to empty the tank of the shampooer, stepped down on a linoleum
LF> floor with wet soles. Both feet slipped out from under me and I
 LF> landed
LF> real hard flat on my bottom and my head hit the door frame.
bummer there goes the windows ! < hehehehe All kidding aside, are you
ok???
LF> I moaned and groaned for awhile and then finished the shampooing.
LF> Sure was hard getting in and out of the car about 20 times today. I
LF> do thank the Lord I wasn't really hurt.
I certainly pray you are doing better today!
BTW, I've gone through 2 skeins of yarn on the first sweater now. I've got
all of about 8" done from the bottom ==> up on the back....
Take care!
