At one time, years ago, two unmade JMS scripts for "Crusade" were 
available for reading on-line, including the end-of season cliffhanger. 
More recently, in one of the script books, JMS has explained in so many 
words how he made up the plague on the spur of the moment to make an 
executive who kept saying, "Duh! I don't get it!" shut up and go back to 
searching for buried treasure in his nose.
