Hi, Anne!
-> LF> Sorry 'bout this, but I have popped up on another echo!
- > Why be sorry??? < We're here to have fun!
Sorry for you to have to put up with me on 2 echoes. 8:-} But we do have
fun.

-> Well I do a variety of things, and I moderate the CROSS-STITCHING and
-> NEEDLES_THREADS echos as well < hehehehe Guess I could have told
-> you that but it was a bit off topic for Katty Korner < hehehehehe
Not that all our discussions were on topic, but we have always talked
about the kitties, too.
-> Right now I am crocheting a sweater. Actually I hope to have TWO of
-> them finished in time to wear to our church conference that we will
-> be going to in April. Gotta really make those hooks fly! I do some cross-stitching, embroidery, and needlepoint as well. I
-> also do quite a lot of sewing (been making my own clothes for well
-> over 40+ years). I even do an occasional "wedding" when the mood
-> strikes me. < I also do quite a lot of sewing for my hubby as
-> well. < I have to be careful of the suiting material I use as
-> I'm allergic to wool. :( Makes me all kinds of puffy and broken out!
As I suspected, a very multi-talented lady. Hope you get your sweaters
completed. When I first learned to sew I made everything but our
underwear. I even made some shirts, pants and ties for my husband, but
never got brave enough to make him a coat. I had enrolled in a
community college course to learn when we moved from LA and I never got
back to it. I love to sew, but I am hard to fit - I wear an 18 petite -
and am short and rather round, narrow shoulders, broad hips.
Do you sew the dresses for the weddings and decorate as well?
You really do have a bad problem with allergies! That is a shame but
sounds as though you have it well in hand.
You are bringing out the urge for me to investigate my pattern box and
my material box. I've got to quit the job and get my house straightened
out first. I did shampoo my bedroom carpet yesterday. Went to empty the
tank of the shampooer, stepped down on a linoleum floor with wet soles.
Both feet slipped out from under me and I landed real hard flat on my
bottom and my head hit the door frame. I moaned and groaned for awhile
and then finished the shampooing. Sure was hard getting in and out of
the car about 20 times today. I do thank the Lord I wasn't really hurt.
God bless,
Lora
