Has anybody else had any problems with zmodem transfers?
I heard that Telemate was having registration sale and so I decided to
take another look at it and when I tried to dl a file and the transfer
would hang about 1k from the end.  It never had happened before.  Just
that one file.
I tried this multiple times with several different log in attempts with
zmodem and Telemate would never receive the last k or so.  The catch is
that the BBS had sent the data and thought the transfer was completed
(and deducted the Ks from my DL ratio!).  This would happen whether it
was a resume or an initial send.  It didn't matter whether the line was
clear or noisy.
I used a different comm program and it correctly picked up the last 1k.
Mabye Telemate has its timing a bit 'stricter' or something, I don't
know.
Has anybody else ever had a problem like this?
