subject: networking choices

I'm looking at a situation where I was expecting to put some cards in some
machines, and then put some effort into bringing up Lantastic 6.0 on those
machines to allow for printer and file sharing.
As of today, I've only found three network cards (apparently from Artisoft?)
where there were supposed to be four, and finally got my hands on the disks
that they were planning to use -- all of which are prominently labeled "Two
User Version"!
That isn't going to work for three machines, is it?
On the other hand, at least one of the machines is currently running WFWG
3.11 and I'm about to install it on another machine, so there's some
potential there.
Anybody care to jump in on this one?
I can see a couple of possibilities...
Upgrading the Lantastic software is one option. I need to get a handle on
what that costs so I can go to him with it. Anybody have a phone number for
that company where I can call them about this?
Or, from what I understand, WFWG allows some sort of "networking" potential
there, but I don't know anything about it, never having used it before. Is
it usable for some simple file and printer sharing? If it's looking at all
usable in this context, what kind of limitations am I looking at and when
would it be practical to move to something else? (In other words, if this
guy's gotta spend some more money I need to be able to go to him and tell him
_why_ he needs to spend some more money... :-)
Comments?
