about DBASE CONVERSION.

Nice to hear. I have a potential customer currently using a system
written in DBASE IV (before I got to them obviously). They are looking at
purchasing a system written in FPD 2.6 (that's right "D"). I am trying to
convince them that it would be faster and more efficient to bring
in a copy of VFP 5.0 and run the DBASE while converting their applications
to VFP 5 bit by bit over the next few months. They will then be up to date
with 32 bit programs and all the latest bells and whistles instead of having
to force themselves into an obsolete package that they will have to up date
anyway! But the convincer would be to tell them about someone who has
already run DBASE IV under VFP 5.0 and take from there with a possible demo.
Anyway, thanks for your input and keep me posted as to any work that has to
be done just to make DBASE run under VFP 5 (if any). TNX
