Your NEC has an Apple IIe with a 2400??!! Tell her to get a real computer.
Actually, this way will do her to, but you can solve it with a "lock and
key". Give her access key N, and change the lines to this...
[b9600][goto fast]
[ifkey]n [goto fast]
[setpriv limited]
[/fast]
MR> Sorry Robby, but ya lost me with your last paragraph:-(
Sorry, I'm usually rushing when I answer mail, so half of what I write makes
no sense.
The lines I gave you are the simplest MEC way to do this. However, the
limited priveledge will remain until you change it. If one of your 2400
users upgrades his modem, the system will still be giving them extra time.
If this is a concern for you as well, you can fix that with a little more MEC
work. Instead of putting the above lines in a newuser mec, put them in your
logon MEC, so the system checks for 2400 baud rates on each logon. Then, to
reset their priveledge level at the end of the call, you need to add the
following lines to your logoff mec file...
[acs limited][setpriv normal]
This way, if a user is logging off and has a priveledge level of "limited",
it resets it to "normal".
Does that make sense?
Robby
