Faith often doesnt come with proof.

I used your parents in a earlier example, you agreed, your mother has faith
in your father that he is being true to her, but in reality she cannot
prove that he is or isnt, however proving that he isnt would be easier than
proving that he is, after all, catching him in the act is all that is
required to shatter that faith.

Therefore in essence, your mothers faith in your father is blind.

You have faith that your govt checks come every month, that faith also is blind.
