Another oddity.
The Pit Bull has 2,000 pound/inch bite force but when I give Spanky a
treat and he takes it from my hand if my hand comes under a tooth he
exerts no force at all but if he hits pure raw turkey neck it's
crunched and gone in 3 minutes.                    

I can't figure out how he can tell what's what inside his mouth, my
fingers or the turkey but I've every confidence he'll never mess up.

The guy is so nice he comes up spontaniously on regular occassion
to express his gratitude and affection by slobbering all over the
side of my face
