What started out as Digital Research DOS became Novell DOS, and is now
Caldera OpenDOS. You can find out more information at
"http://www.caldera.com/dos/", where you can download a free evaluation copy.
Downloading is also possible by FTP from
"ftp://ftp.caldera.com/pub/opendos/". The current released version is 7.01.
Note especially that Caldera OpenDOS is absolutely free, not just for
evaluation, if used in educational or non-profit settings.
Caldera is more widely known for their OpenLinux, based on Red Hat Linux. It
is an interesting bit of trivia that Caldera's principal backer is Ray
Noorda, who used to run Novell. He bought Digital Research when he was at
Novell, and then bought its product lines -- including DR DOS/Novell DOS and
CP/M -- from Novell while running Caldera.

You need version 7.02 of Caldera OpenDOS, currently in beta, to run with
Windows 95. This is also downloadable from the Caldera web site.
