Thank Jerry Baker.  The tip is in his pamphlet 'Vinegar Secrets.'  Note that
the alternative is Frontline, which costs about $10/dog/month (or flea collars,
which don't seem to work well around here and cost about $7/dog/quarter) - 
and I have ten dogs.
