subject: FoxPro Programming Books

Hello David,
Yes, and I think Savannah has made an important contribution to
XBASE Programming. If someone wished for a work on just the nuts & bolts
of OOP as applied to Visual FoxPro, I think there was a gap, which she
filled. If one wants to really get going with hardcore VFP Programming,
Hers may be the book to get. Seems concise and to the point.
Still it was not quite what I need personally. I chased all around,
and finally found 1 store that had 1 copy of Miriam's left. Full price,
but they are holding it 'til Friday nite, when I can get over to pick it
up. It was rather scary to find out how very scarce books on FoxPro 2.5
and even 2.6 have already become. I found that you can not even special
order a lot of titles now.
                                         Thanks for the sound advice,
                                         den
