BK>>RN>>Bob doesn't get the same cold we get. His is dryer.
BK>> TW> And let me tell you althouhg people Laugh when you talk
BK>> TW> about it, DRY cold is pretty nice compaired with WET cold.
BK>> TW> I joined the Navy in the Winter up in Great Falls Montana.
BK>> TW> VERY rarely even though the thermometer read -30 F did I
BK>> TW> really concider it Cold. THEN the Navy introduced me to the
BK>> TW> Cold on the West shore of Lake Michigan. Let me tell I
BK>> TW> albut froze to death in their -15 F weather. ---
BK>> Would that be Great Lakes Training Center?
TW> That would be IT. I went to IC-A school there.
My father went there during WW2. He wound up a bombsite repair
man, I believe it was. It was so secret even the ships officers
weren't allowed in. Don't recall if his tech school was there,
or basic training, or whatever.
I know what an A-school is, but not what IC school is.
BTW, be glad you weren't in Wisconsin. It would have reminded
you of Great Falls, with a lake nearby.
