I'm very concerned about our constitutional rights, and was certainly upset
at the last administration's handling of affairs.  That got a bad set of
circumstances rolling I fear. Whatever it is, I hope it stops...

Some of the situations quoted in that NYTimes article which I'd read before
you'd posted it here (we have a subscription) did indeed bother me a great
deal.  Not so much because I think as you may that we are headed for the
end of the world, Jeff, but because it just is not right.  _Our_ country
should NOT be doing this to people, to it's own citizens.. to anyone :(

That may be, though you know as well as I do how many times prophecies have
been cited, and the End Times have been declared... and not happened. Many
Many times...
