"ISP" stands for Internet Service Provider.
Also, if you do want to use the internet for long periods of time, you might
want to think about getting a second phone line, otherwise, I think it would
be ok to connect to the interent on your existing line and only tie up the
phone line for a short period of time or when you are not expecting a call
(that's what I do.)
