I run it once a week or so - use that to catch SPAM mail. I've run it
full scree, windoowed, launched from Program Manager, icons, however I
got to it. First, I'm running Warp 4, FP6 with 96 meg of RAM - helps a
bit :-}
Positively use SIO if you even THINK you will run DOS comm apps,
especially WINOS2 comm apps. Give it a resonable memory size. let's
see.... Oh, yes, I have had lots of wonderful problems with Juno:
unexpected traps while loading (don't load Juno as the first Win app
after boot), wouldn't close completely - left a zombie DOS process
popping around. This finally went away for whatever unknown reason.
It runs, but you will have to tune it. I had best luck early on with
Full Screen, lots of memory, and make sure you are using the enhanced
mode. No magic bullets, just persevere until you can get Inet access
and free email access that way.
