The Customer is Always Right
There may be exceptions, but all the stores I have
ever dealt with observe that rule.
BUT -
You can't return your purchase for a refund or exchange
without a sales slip. In the case of some franchised
chains, you have to return the item to the store where
you purchased the thing.
So - be sure and check the terms and conditions of the
sales policy of the store, and be sure and keep the
sales slips. Make sure the sales slip is legible, and
has the correct date, and the name of the store.
Take names, too, when you talk to sales and store
personnel. I've been bit many times on a second call,
or visit to the store, and been asked, "Who did you
talk to?" Heck, I don't know, who takes names?
