It seems there are several different problems sometimes. Mine was that Max 
was putting the msgtmp00?.$$$ into the c:\max\temp area rather than in the 
maximus subdirectory. Then I had to hard code because (evidently) because Win 
Dos won't take a %1 in that batch file. Don't know why. I'm not much of a 
batcher so I have to "cut and try" a lot. :)
So I guess you got it going. I'm glad.
