Yep, that explains why there is more open water in the Artic each year.  The 
open water is lasting longer and is becoming more expansive.  It's 
estimated that the Artic will be fully open in 2025.  

Hell, Sarah Pallin bugged out on a media opportunity to run back to 
Wassilla because of flooding.  It seems like the spring thaw was 
earlier and hotter than before, resulting in the overflows.
