Ok, I must be going about this wrong.
Anyone have any tips on setting up a plant tank?  Its to grow plants goldfish 
like to eat.
What I have is a 20 gall tank, with a little gravel and a filter (small).  2 
snails, 1 stray guppy, and plants that arent growing at all (some seem to be 
dying).  There is no existing 'ecology' to speak of as it is a very new tank 
setup.  River mud neded or something like that?
