April 1, 2004

I don't have much to talk about other than a 36 sec. Match on RAW so I
figured I would hit the e-mail bag and do some more Q and A.

Q: Is there a special camaraderie between the ECW or WCW guys?
A: Not really, for the most part we've all been here together now for
3 or 4 years so I think we all see ourselves as WWE guys at this
point. We do however share certain stories from our former places of
work so at times we will be together sharing stories and laughing
about past experiences. That is the case with all places of work.
Edge, Christian, Rhyno, Jericho, and I often joke about past Winnipeg
trips form Tony Condello (WFWA).

Q: Why are they billing Benoit from Atlanta?
A: I just found out about this. I guess I don't listen to ring
introductions well enough. I'm not really sure. He moved to Atlanta
when he started with WCW, so he does live there. That said, most of
the Canadian guys live in the US and are still billed from their
Canadian hometowns. Your guess is as good as mine.

Q: Are you writing your Autobiography?
A: I am writing my, all be it at a very slow pace. I do plan on having
it finished (or at least caught up to date) this year. Whether it ever
gets published is a whole other story.

Q: Have you watched NWA TNA?
A: Nope, not an episode. I don't get direct TV so I don't have the
option. I've been curious but I don't have the time to try and track
down tapes.

Q: Which did you enjoy more, the Un-Americans or Team Canada?
A: I enjoyed the Team Canada run more. I had more creative input and
it just felt more focused and more me.

Q: Have you ever wrestled Ric Flair?
A: I wrestled Ric on a house show in Pittsburgh, PA. It was a Tag Team
title defence for Christian and I during our Un-American days. We
defended against Flair and Taker. It was a lot of fun, seeing that it
was my first match against either guy. The only down side is that
Flair was the baby face, which is not his strong suit, in my opinion.
I would have loved to work him when he was the heel. I had a blast,
and the coolest part was that after the match Dreamer said he saw a
spark between Ric and I, and he thought there was some chemistry
between us, that would make for a good singles program.

Q: Do you want Brock to come back?
A: I would have wanted him to stay, but after really leaving us high
and dry like he did, not really. He received a tremendous push and had
a ton of guys work hard to get him there and then just walked out. I
wish him luck in the future, but would resent it if he came back and
received another push.

Q: Will Edge win the World Title this year?
A: I have no idea. I don't have near enough stroke to have an opinion
on that one. I seriously hope he has a Title Run in him in his career,
but I can say that about a lot of people.

Q: Whom can't you have a good match with, if that is even possible?
A: I can't have a good match with a guy who won't listen. Some people
insist on doing things their way. Sometimes it is easier to have a
good match with a terrible worker who will listen than an okay worker
who won't.

Q: Do you prefer Singles or Tags?
A: I love them both, and there are up sides to both. For one match, if
I can pick the people, I'd likely pick a tag. Tags give you so many
more creative options.

Q: Have you ever wrestled Bret Hart?
A: No I have not and I will likely die, still wishing I had. Bret was
the best, in my view, and I've always wanted to work with him. It's a
shame he had to retire.

That's it for another week. Please keep the e-mail questions coming,
and if you can please be brief. I have to read through a ton of these
so emails titled Q and A; with just bullet point questions are my
favourites.

Thanks
Lance
