the benefits are to the bbs... there are some for the smaller othernets but
there is little that can really be done to aid fidonet... it has a stigma that
others don't care for... i can't quite put my finger on why but it is apparent
that arguments and fights in fidonet are one thing that is not seen in other
networks... i don't think it is pacifist attitudes but there is definitely
something different... aside from the "cranky grumpy old goat" syndrome...
