Huh? Only Congress has the power to make law.

RS> Judges using the Constitution rule those laws invalid.

That isn't what legislation by judicial fiat is all about.

The Judicial branch has no authority to write law, yet they have been doing
it for decades and you moonbats applaud their efforts.

RS> You want a fundy "Christian" to have passed a law that
outlaws the LDS?

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,
or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;..."

RS> There are congressmen who want this.

There are? Name them.

 RS> And congresswomen.
RS> Worst example, Michelle Bachmann from Minnesota.

Is that so? Tell us all about it.

And while you are at it, tell us how such a law would pass through both
houses of Congress and then get signed by the president. Then tell us how
it would be upheld by the courts.

restrictions that cannot be observed, because they know that every
break of the fundamental laws, though dictated by necessity, impairs
that sacred reverence which ought to be maintained in the breast of
rulers towards the constitution of a country."
