Hello Jeff! 10 Jun 09 20:04, you wrote to me: JB> I watch that echo. It's been funny. Speaking of new PCs, I finally JB> broke down and bought the parts to build my new personal workstation. How much memory? If you went 32 bit and have 4 gb or more, Winders wont see more than 3.4gb of it, thats a limitation of 32bit, not just Winders. My Windows Box is Dual Monitor 22" Dells. Intel Core 2 Duo Quad Core Q6600 2.4ghz 4GB Ram Vista Home Premium 64 bit 1.25 TB internal Storage across 3 drives, another 1.5 tb on an external seagate, 500gb on a external iomega (backups) 250gb on a pocket seagate also used for backing up docs etc. I actually bought the PC from HOME DEPOT off their web site. It is a PC made by Mirus, Its got a big blue LED on the front that resembles the LED from the HAL computer from 2001 A Space Odyssey, so I call it HAL. == Ross Fidonet Feeds Or Fidonet In Your Newsreader: http://www.easternstar.info E-mail: ross(at)cassell(dot)us | Other Places: http://links.cassell.us Fidonet Netmail Routing Chart Z1 Only: http://netmail.fidonet4u.info ...
