Actually it's peoples' perceptions that are biased, thus giving an illogical
result to the poll.  Autos made from the same parts by the same people on
the same assembly lines should have identical ratings regardless of the
nameplate on them.  That said, I note that similar poll results have come out
WRT Dodge and Plymouth vehicles and between Dodge and Chrysler vehicles
(yes, I'm a MoPar guy).

So it has to be people's perceptions rather than any actual situations.
