I'm not convinced by the test. Safari is a bit of a RAM hog, but I don't
get a system slowdown from it. Unless it hits a weird Web site, and then
all bets are off. Don't know if it's Java or Flash or what, but some pages
can clobber Safari (or it just takes long to load the entire page).
