YEp, and I've used both, as we use 1/2 inch 1 inch and even 2 inch for
audio in the studio. IN fact I miss the old days of that stuff.  I could
really do some fine work with a splicing block at one time.  I"d
probably get it back if I had to again, but I'd need practice .
