In 1958 or 1959, a friend and I were wandering around the Times Square 
area, and stopped into a hotel to use the public restroom.  After 
leaving the restroom, we saw Nature Boy Buddy Rogers in the lobby.  We 
asked for his autograph, and he was kind enough to give each of us one.

Another time, also near Times Square, we saw Haystacks Calhoun walking 
on 42nd street, dressed in his ring attire (which consisted of denim 
coveralls over a sweatshirt of some kind); he even had his horse shoe 
hanging from his neck.  We spoke with him a bit, but didn't get an 
autograph.
