Fedex did the same to me with a G4 Powerbook a year-and-a-half ago, except
they dropped it off in a carport because no one was home. Fortunately the
people who got the package Fedex, who got it to us the next day.

When I called to Fedex to complain that the driver did not get a signature,
as required by Apple, the Fedex support person told me that they (Fedex)
didn't have to honor that requirement.
