Isn't water tested by your water companies? Here in the U.K. we have 
the right to one FREE water test per annum from our water company.

They have to perform a full analyses of the water samples collected from 
all sites on the property.  It really is comprehensive.
Failing this, is there a shortage of test kits, so you can perform your 
own tests?
What are the standards there?  Aren't you curious?
