I think you still don't get it here. The kid didnt become intolerant du eto
early weaning. The kid was probably weaned early due to *being* intolerant.
Feeding a kid lactose when they can not digest it, leads to horrible
diahrrhea problems that can be life threatening.
There is a good chance you are eurpoean extraction so just not familiar with
this.
