Did you hear the latest?  Texas repubs asked Homeland Security to chase
down a dems plane on the grounds that it might  have crashed.  (It was a
ruse) Homeland Security is livid to be pulled into this petty fight.  This
will come back to bite the Texans.

Oh and this just in. Delay was up here (DC) for some wine and cheese party
(well acutally, beef and red wine) at a local restaurant and tried to light
a cigar or cig.  The Maitre politely informed him that the building was
owned by feds and smoking was not permitted.  Delay huffed and puffed and
asked that the rules be bent. When the Maitre again informed him that he
could not smoke, Delay was reported to have said, "I am the federal
government." (Didn't some French king pull a similar stunt?) Delay
finally had to go outdoors to smoke..before the dessert course.
