TR>RC>You should really watch him in the LINUX echo, he is cuddling up TR>RC>to Maurice Kinal, trying to impress him with his Linux knowledge TR>RC>Parroting all his system specs with the spacious 256m of RAM he TR>RC>has. TR>JB>I watch that echo. It's been funny. Speaking of new PCs, I TR>JB>finally broke down and bought the parts to build my new personal TR>JB>workstation. That's why I haven't been posting as much. Right now TR>JB>it is copying files over in the background, TR>JB>My old PC was an AMD Athlon 1800+ running Windows 2000. My new TR>JB>one is an AMD quad core 9950 with an ASUS NVIDIA motherboard and 6 TR>JB>- 1.5T drives. I moved up to XP Pro .... TR>Windows `Vista' is great. Of all the versions of Windows, Vista is TR>probably the best one I've used. The processor is very fast. My wife runs it on her new Dell computer. I haven't fully warmed up to it yet. I'd have to get the office version, since they stripped out some networking support from the home version. I'll wait for Widnows 7 and see what it looks like. Personally I liked Win2K. Very solid and no issues. TR>I'm wondering where the two welfare queen's, Otto and `Whiney' Wayne, TR>are getting the money for computer equipment. Folks like you and I contributing to the public dole.
