From: "Rich Gauszka"
I am smiling a bit more now that I have a notebook that can read email in
text mode without being compromised
The cooler that gave me the shutdown trouble was the Lian Li.
I did try another notebook cooler - Vantec LapCool. It also has an
adjustment to have your laptop on a slope. Unfortunately the surface of
the cooler is so slick that the notebook will slide off it. It should have
been named the Vantec Slide Cool.
The Vantec did have an external power unit but for some reason I couldn't
get Vantec's usb hub/card reader to work with the Macbook. It worked fine
with my Sony Vaio notebook. Other usb hubs and card readers appear to work
fine with the Macbook. I haven't seen a usb problem like this since the
early years of usb.
