I believe someone in Region 19, perhaps in Arkansas, was
  asking the other day about a FidonetInternet gateway.
       There is a Region 19 gateway; I'm not sure if it's open
  to all in Region 19, but I believe it is, with the usual
  restrictions applicable to most gateways (no lists, no FTP
  by mail, no uuencoded messages, etc.).
