 You can usually opt out if you carefully read the dialog and
uncheck the "bad" boxes when installing or updating programs, though
sometimes Open Candy runs without any warning.
 It can also act as a downloader, scanning your system and
downloading unwanted third party programs.
 Tell your anti-malware program to quarantine it.
