Hallo Bob !
BG> Maxlist v.2.50 wide beta is now available for testing.
BG> We would like to get your feed back on this beta version.
The newest infos (Bugreport) about MaxList v2.50wb:
Bugreport at 18.01.98
---------------------
001: A crash occours (after "Finalize ..."), if NO Html-Indexlist
defined. To skip this bug, it's necessary to make follow entry
in your cfg:
FileList Index dummy.htm New 1
Filter Group *
Filter Area *
End FileList
This will do nothing, but MaxList will work ...
002: After the PID-Kludge, a CR is missing. But I think, most of the
tossers have no problem with this ...
003: The import of File_id.diz with the commandline -I and -R hava a
malfunction. If an import is not possible, the string which is defined
under "NoDesc" will be inserted, but not the existing description.
004: Partial, a %Variable% in the config if accepted, without a previous
definition of itself. That can (but must not) produce problems.
Please check out your config of this.
005: The nodenumber after CREATEPKT is not correctly detected.
To resolve this problem, enter the AKA always as 4D,
e.g. zone:net/node.point (2:2448/6001.0)
006: The NOT of the Cfg-token "AutoAddFiles" does work not
correctly. MaxList gives a error-message, if a NOT FILE or a Filename
is declared. To resolve this problem, you can define many entrys with
a appropriate Filemask, e.g.
AutoAddFiles Group * *.ZIP
AutoAddFiles Group * *.ARJ
and so one
007: In the templates, @AreaACS / GroupACS gives NO output, if no
translation in the cfg (Userleve) is present.
That is a "James Bond effect" ;-)
008: The Msg-Id in the messages is always distributed as 3D. This is
a problem, if you have a Pointsystem ...
Gruss,
Wilfried tsc@cww.de
