Much as I'd love to be able to solve the whole world's problems with
religion, (who wouldn't?) I know I can't.

So I concentrate on what is in the here, and now.

And in the US, the majority is still Christian.
Both for good *AND* bad.

As to religious controversy, I'm watching the mess at Notre Dame, a mess
created by a bunch of grandstanding "Christians" and political hacks
like the whack job Alan Keyes.

As has been pointed out on a few blogs, (with documentation,) many of
the people screaming the loudest about Obama speaking at ND have some
really rotten business in their own pasts.

One of the loudest Catholic bishops on this ended up costing the diocese
he used to be in, millions of $$$, for covering up child-molesting
priests.

Randall Terry divorced his wife, after cheating on her, and stuck his
big beak into the Terry Schiavo fiasco.

Where were these same people when ND gave honorary degress to *OTHER*
pro-choice people, including Patrick Moynihan (sp?) and to the pro-death
George Bush?
