Sorry about posting info that was not correct about nitrox but,
as I  said I do not know too much about it as I am just gettin into
diving but I was under the impression that depths that were dangerous
with air could be done much safer with Nitrox (with the advanced nitrox
course).  This is what lead me to say that greater depths  could be
reached for those qualified to go that deep.
