Reminds me of the old joke:

Guy is filling in a job application form for a government job.  There's a
statement at the bottom which he has to sign and it includes a phrase
"have never been a member of an organization that has as its stated
objective the overthrow of the Government of the United States."

Guy refuses to sign.  When asked why he says "They're Republicans. 
I'm a Democrat."
